²⁰ so that his ^(A)life loathes bread,
    and his appetite ^(B)the choicest food.
²¹ His flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen,
    and his bones that were not seen ^(C)stick out.
²² His soul draws near ^(D)the pit,
